A Funny Look At Impressions

Written and performed by Jan Ravens
Directed and co-written by Richard Hurst
Touring from May - October 2009 (premiered at Watford Palace Theatre)

Best known for impersonating myriad celebrities and public figures in Dead Ringers on both Radio 4 and BBC2, Jan Ravens also recently stepped out on Strictly Come Dancing, and won Celebrity Mastermind. Now she makes her solo stage debut in this delightfully funny and revelatory show, which premiered at London’s National Theatre.

Ravens shows how she creates her remarkable impressions, treating her audience along the way to many of her most renowned personas. From Anne Robinson and Victoria Wood to the Queen and Hillary Clinton, plus of course her unforgettable takes on Fiona Bruce and Kirsty Wark, no woman in the public eye is safe from Ravens’ unique brand of satirical comedy.

‘There are very few women whom Ravens can’t do. Her impressions are modern and topical, but with a fresh, satirical twist.’ Daily Telegraph

‘A consummate impersonator.’ The Times
